SEAN ARMENTA

Sean Armenta’s absolute passion is for the art of photography.  From a very young age, he displayed an extraordinary aptitude for the Arts. Born in Vancouver, BC and raised in the Philippines and Los Angeles, Sean originally studied to become a doctor. While in school, he was selected in a model search by the biggest modeling agency in Manila, which eventually led to a successful career as a model all over Southeast Asia. This exposure to the Fashion Industry influenced him to eschew a career in medicine and naturally transition behind the lens.

His contributions and work to the fashion, beauty, and education industry have been seen around the world.  He has worked with major international fashion companies such as Wet Seal, Arden B, Paul Frank, and Maggie Barry.  Sean’s love for shooting beauty inevitably led him to shooting major international campaigns for industry powerhouses like Paul Mitchell and Milani Cosmetics.

With a flair for fashion, an eye for beauty and the determination to understand the evolution of technology, Sean knew there was a great void of advanced photography education for the modern freelance artist, and founded PREP TO POST Photography Workshops. Most recently he has become a regular contributor to FStoppers, where he produces video tutorials on post production in his own section called FStoppers PPT.

He is currently based in Southern California, and continues to travel around the world sharing his experience and creating amazing images.
