JEROME BRUA

Jerome Brua is an independent filmmaker / cinematographer based in San Diego, California. A former Architecture student, he found his passion doing multimedia arts and went on to study the art of filmmaking enrolling in several directing and cinematography classes in such schools as The International Academy of Film and Television (Cebu city, Philippines) and The New York Film Academy (Los Angeles, CA). Since then, he has been working as a Director/Cinematographer doing Music Videos, TV Commercials, Corporate Videos, Documentaries, Narrative Short and Feature films, both in the Philippines and (currently) in California.

Throughout the length of his career as a filmmaker, he has worked with companies like ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation as an EFP Cameraman/Videographer doing camerawork for different TV shows, News and Current Affairs, Reality TV, Variety shows & Entertainment News. In addition Jerome has worked with several production companies including Outbound Asia & Konsepto Atbp. as director/cameraman shooting projects ranging from Corporate Videos, TV Commercials and Documentaries.

He now works as a Freelance Filmmaker / Cinematographer since moving in California three years ago utilizing DSLRs for most of his current and upcoming projects.
