PHOTO LAB: THE V-FLAT

Welcome to the PHOTO LAB, where I will be producing short tutorials on all things photography. This series will include tips and tricks for lighting, studio equipment, and grip.

Today we will put together a V-Flat, which is one of the most useful things to have in the studio. It is super easy to put together, using two 4’ x 8’ sheets of 3/16” foamcore. You can find foamcore at art supply warehouses, online, or in professional photo and theatrical supply outlets. You will also need gaffers tape, which you can find online or through photo and theatrical supply outlets.
